The SEEMEE 508 radar taillight is a joint project with MAGENE, a brand that focuses on the research and development of cutting-edge scientific and technological products, manufacturing intelligent sports equipment, and providing sports intelligent solutions. It adopts millimeter-wave pulse signals and has 40 ° beam angle, able to detect rear vehicles within 140m even at bends. And offers a smart vibration sensor and enough brightness for both daytime or nighttime riding. Support 220 ° wide viewing angle with visibility of up to 1.2km and effective warning of rear vehicles to ensure safe riding.

Via the standard ANT+ protocol of radar, the SEEMEE 508 can be connected to bike computers, watches, or other display devices, such as MAGENE C406 Pro smart bike computer, partial Garmin, Wahoo, Bryton bike computers and partial Garmin watches, etc. When connecting, it can accurately provide visual and audible alerts from display terminal to warn of vehicles approaching from behind up to 140 meters away, to help riders be on full alert in the surroundings. If the rear vehicle suddenly comes from behind within 140m, the taillight enters flashing mode for 2 seconds, warning the rear vehicle to keep a safe distance from you, and protecting you from safety risks caused by sudden acceleration of rear vehicle on open road.

It is also equipped with a built-in high-precision acceleration sensor, to quickly detect and enter 3 seconds highlight mode even with slight braking, while ignoring shaking and small bumps to prevent false starts. And the taillight will enter to the sleep mode after 5 minutes of inaction and auto activated on any vibrations.

Operating SEEMEE 508 is super simple. A long press of the switch will turn the taillight on and off, and a short press will cycle through 6 modes (solid mode, flashing mode, pulse mode, peloton mode, rotate mode and only radar mode). You can preset the radar on/off under each light mode through the MAGENE Utility APP to combine light and radar as you want or customize the flashing/pulse interval and the exclusive mode.

With the quarter turn mount, the SEEMEE 508 can be easily attached or detached with a twist, and the highly integrated rubber pad is compatible with round, aero, D-shape seat posts. Pair with the Computers:

This device can be paired with other display devices that support the standard ANT+ protocol of radar. You can judge the situation of vehicles coming from behind through the information prompted on the display device for the purpose of a safe ride. Paring operations are as follows:

• Keep the display device 3 meters away from this device and turn both on
• Select "Add sensors" ("Search sensors") on the sensor page of the display device or the corresponding APP interface
• Select this device in the search results to connect

App Settings & Updates:

SEEMEE 508 can be connected to MAGENE Utility with Bluetooth. You can upgrade the firmware of the device, set the mode preference, etc.in the APP. After connecting to APP, you can customize the tail light flashing/pulse interval and the exclusive mode. You can preset the radar on/off under each light mode (e.g., turn on the radar in solid mode and turn off the radar in flashing mode) through the APP to combine light and radar as you want, to apply to various scenarios.

Operating Instructions:

Switch - A switch on the front of the housing controls all the lighting modes.

On/Off - Press and hold the switch to turn the taillight on/off.

Mode Selection - With the taillight turned on, single press to cycle through solid mode - flashing mode - pulse mode - peloton mode - rotate mode - only radar mode - solid mode. When braking, the taillight will automatically turn to highlight mode. And the taillight will enter to the sleep mode after 5 minutes of inaction and auto activated on any vibrations.

Memory Function - The taillight will memorize the last selected output. When turned on again, the previously used mode will be recalled.
